I can’t believe that Lost In The Flood has been played on once at this tour. Such a powerful song, and it fits to the Wrecking Ball Tour theme nicely. My favorite version of Lost In The Flood can be found from Born To Run 30th anniversary box (the Hammersmith Odeon, London ’75 DVD ).
Massive audio work on this one. This is a 4 audience source matrix. Meaning that the four different audio sources was mixed together! There are currently two different fan “bootleg” tapes from this show circulating. I used both of them with this video, and also audio from the original videos are mixed in too!
If you have listened any of the audio sources before, you can tell that they all have their own flaws. It must have been windy at the Ullevi stadium as the vocals goes from one channel into another. With 4 sources I was able to balance the sound a bit. It might not be 100% accurate mix, as perfect timing for each source is pretty hard to come by. Here’s one hoping for the Crystal Cat release. Great show like this deserves a better sounding bootleg.
Original videos have been taken from YouTube users wildandinn and MrPeteseeger . Videos was once again stabilized with the vReveal video editing software (Version 2, which is sadly no longer available. V3 is crappy). I used some noise reduction with the videos, and video might be bit soft because of that (also thanks to 2x youtube encoding).
Video was dubbed with the audio sources recorded by mortenkofoed and ??? and then remixed together in the Reaper (the best audio editing software). Videos and audio track combined with the Sony Movie Studio 10 HD Suite.
Video:wildandinn and MrPeteseeger Audio:Edirol R-09 (24bit/48kHz), Core Sound LCB + Pocketrak W24 digital recorder + Original audio tracks from videos
Software used to make this video: Sony Movie Studio 10 HD Suite (Video) + vReveal 2 (Video) + Reaper 4.25 (Audio)
If you wish to hear other Wrecking Ball rarities. Let me know your suggestions!
